- 1 Whole Orange cut into 1/4’s
- 225g Butter
- 3 eggs
- 200g sugar, 1/2 quantity of sugar can be used
- 300g SR flour, GF flour can be used
Poppyseeds to taste

- 1. Preheat oven 180c
2. Grease and line 20cm springform cake tin
3. Place orange and butter into mixing bowl and mix 7sec/speed 8
4. Add remaining ingredients and combine 20 sec/"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 4
5. Pour into tin and bake for 50-60mins
Iced with cream cheese frosting

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. I love this recipe, it's quick, very easy and in the oven in no time. This is the 2nd time I've made it, this time I decided to remove the white pith....just to see if it made a difference.

Had to add a dash of milk as the batter was really thick !
A little too dense for my liking but the flavour was good.
