Ingredients

Double choc chip muffins

  • 150 grams plain flour
  • 90 grams wholemeal flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 150 grams raw sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 250 grams Milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
  • 40 grams choc chips dark, extra

Recipe's preparation

    choc chip muffins
  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees

    Place 18 cup cake cases in muffin tins

  2. Place 150 g of raw sugar in TM bowl and mill for 5 seconds on speed 9

  3. Add dark chocolate in pieces to the TM bowl and grind for 5 seconds on speed 9

  4. Add all other ingredients except the extra choc chips  to TM bowl and mix for 30 - 40 seconds on speed 4-5

  5. Pour into 18 cup cake liners (or 12 muffin liners if your prefer the bigger size)

    Sprinkle each with the extra choc chips and bake in oven for 15-18 minutes.

    These were nice.  I probably will put more choc chips through the mix rather than on top next time.

    Made these tonight. Really nice. I like the wholemeal flour. I might add chopped walnuts next time. Thanks.
