Healthy Bircher Muesli

  • 2 apple, red, Quartered
  • 2 heaped teaspoons chia seeds
  • 2 heaped teaspoons sunflower seeds
  • 2 heaped teaspoons pumpkin seed
  • 2 heaped tablespoons raw almonds
  • 120 g rolled oats
  • 2 heaped teaspoons Shredded coconut
  • 600 g yoghurt
  • 1 dash cinnamon, Ceylon

Recipe's preparation

    Healthy Bircher Muesli
  1. Place apple, nuts and seeds into the bowl. Blitz 2 seconds on speed 7
    Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
    Add oats, shredded coconut, yoghurt and cinnamon.
    Mix Speed 4 for 4 seconds on reverse.
    Decant into jars or bowls. Refrigerate overnight.
    Top with berries before eating. (If using frozen berries, top before refrigerating so they'll defrost by the morning)

Tip

Serve with honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter Bircher muesli. Dried fruit can also be added in with the nuts and seeds.
Muesli can last in the fridge for up to 4 days.
