Recipe's preparation

    How To....
  1. Add all ingredients in to bowl  – Mix for 20 seconds on speed 8, scrap down sides of bowl and mix again until all combined.

Press into lined baking tin and place a baking paper on top and compress down by rolling with a glass.

Bake on 180 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden.

Allow to cool, cut into bars or I like to cut into bites sizes for the younger children, and store in an air tight container in the fridge.

    Enjoy

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I too had problems with this recipe being way too dry to create a decently held together bar, so I added a large tablespoon of honey and a glug of olive oil. I also added a small hand of walnuts, and another small hand of sultanas and it turned out quite nicely. It's still crumbly, but holds together way better.  Cooking 7

I think ingredients are missing ie butter and egg. I added 1 egg and about 30 g butter but the mixture was still quite crumbly. With the addition of these in the right amounts I'm sure it would make a nice bar.
