Recipe's preparation

  1. Put a small bowl onto Closed lid"Closed lid" lid, weigh 50g of chilled water into it. Add to the water, 1 tablespoon of gelatine, stir and set bowl aside.

Add 100g sugar into Closed lid"Closed lid" and mill 10seconds, speed 9. Scrape down sides of Closed lid"Closed lid" with spatula.

Add 500g cream, 270g milk and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla to Closed lid"Closed lid" . Cook 10minutes, 80deg, speed 3.

Pour 100g Baileys and reserved gelatine mixture to Closed lid"Closed lid" . Mix 3minutes, Speed 3.

Distribute mixture evenly into Dariole Moulds (available in the mix shop). Cover in gladwrap and leave in the fridge to chill overnight.

To serve run a sharp knife around the outside of pannacotta, and turn upside down onto the plate or bowl that you wish to serve it on. Moving the pannacotta once it's turned out onto another surface is near impossible.

    Serve with fresh strawberries.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
