I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Custard
  1. Blend sesame seeds and chia seeds on speed 10 for 20 seconds.

Add all other ingredients and blend on speed 4 at 90degrees for 7 min.

I created this recipe to compensate for my lack of calcium, the sesame seeds add a high quantity of calcium to your diet without the need for dairy, you can add more depending on your taste. I'll be testing this one without eggs for a vegan option which I'm sure will work fine with an additional 2 tablespoons of chia seeds.

This recipe is also high in Omega 3!!!

Absolutely delicious plus a much healthier custard than the usual recipes. Thank you so much for sharing! tmrc_emoticons.;)

I put 40g of black chia seeds into our chocolate custard tonight, without realising that your recipe was here.  Will try it again with the sesame seeds, as you suggest, and come back to you soon.  It was interesting how soft and swollen the chia seeds became, just in the ordinary custard cooking time, but if you like a smooth texture, you could easily puree at the end.  tmrc_emoticons.)
