Ingredients

Choc peanut butter balls

  • 260 g crunchy peanut butter
  • 50 g Butter, at room temperature
  • 150 g pure icing sugar
  • 80 g Coco pops
  • 375 g milk chocolate chips, or melts
  • 1.5 level teaspoons vegetable oil

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add peanut butter, butter and icing sugar to the bowl and mix for 20 seconds at speed 5
  2. Add the Coco pops and mix for 10 seconds reverse speed 3
  3. Line 2 trays with nonstick baking paper
  4. Roll teaspoonfuls of the mixture into balls and place onto the trays. Place into the fridge for 30 minutes or until firm.
  5. Clean and dry the bowl, then add the chocolate to the bowl.

    Grate the chocolate on speed 7 for 7 seconds then add the oil.
  6. Melt the chocolate and oil for 3-4 minutes at 50° speed 3.
  7. Once the chocolate is melted, use two forks to dip balls one of the time into chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drain and place on a tray.
  8. Refrigerate for five minutes or until set. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
