DIY Real Jelly

  • 100 g blue berries, hulled
  • 15 g raw sugar, or 1 tablespoon
  • 12 grams of Gelatine Powder
  • 550 grams room temp water

Recipe's preparation

    Strawberry Jelly
  1. Add hulled berries and desired raw sugar to TM bowl and cook 3-4mins 90degs/Sp4.

    Add 300g of the cold water and gelatine (try not to get any on top of the blade) into mixture. Heat for 3 min/ 90degs/Sp3

    Add remaining cold water and blend 10secs/Sp4.

    Once cooled, divide jelly mix into plastic cups or into one bowl. Allow to set for a couple of hours or overnight is best before serving.

    You can top with additional fresh fruit, yoghurt or custard.

  3. If you do not want to use berries, please proceed as follows:

    Add 300g of the cold water, raw sugar and contents of the 2 sachets of gelatine (try not to get any on top of the blade) to the TM bowl. Heat 3-4mins on 90degs/Sp3.



    Add remaining 700g of cold water and blend 10secs/Sp4.



    Once cooled, divide jelly mix into plastic cups or into one bowl. Allow to set for a couple of hours or overnight is best before serving.

    You can add fresh fruit before the jelly sets, then top with yoghurt or custard when the jelly is firm.

    It requires some work but as CutTheWood reported, Doing something yourself’s always better. This seemingly looks true here. Hadn’t considered the simplicity of making real jelly ourselves earlier.
