Healthy Hedgehog Slice
- 500 grams Pitted Dried Dates
- 300 grams whole almonds, Unblanched
- 2 tablespoon chia seeds, White or Mixed is ok
- 1-2 tablespoon brown sugar, Optional
- 40 grams cocoa powder, or Cacao
- 1 Juice of Lemon or Lime
- 1-2 tablespoon Coconut Oli, optional
Topping
- 2 tablespoon desicated coconut, To Sprinkle on top

- * Line tray (aprox 20cm x 40cm) with baking paper.
* Place Dates, Almonds, Chia seeds in mixing bowl speed 10/ 30sec
* Add remaining ingredients (Except Toppping) to mixing bowl speed 7/ 30 secs
* Tip mixture onto lined tray & Press firmly to form slice.
*Sprinkle with descicated coconut.
*Place in fridge to firm up aprox 2hrs
*Store in airtight container in fridge

You can add extra or alternative nuts or seeds.
Eg: Cashews, Sunflower seeds, pepita seeds, options are endless
