Line a baking tray and set aside.
  1. Place biscuits into mixing bowl and mill 5 seconds/speed 9. Transfer to a large bowl and set aside.

  4. Turn mixture out onto a silicone Thermomat or similar non-stick surface. Divide mixture into four pieces. With slightly damp hands rolling each section into a log shape approximately 2cm in diameter.

  5. Roll lengths in dessicated coconut and place on prepared baking tray. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

  6. Finally, cut logs into pieces - around 1 cm rounds and Enjoy!

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

So good! This recipe is a family favorite of ours, passed down over the years but we've always done this manually which is sticky and messy! This was fantastic and I'm thrilled to have found an easier way of putting it together. We also soak the broken mints in the condensed milk for a couple of days before making so make it more minty. Thank you!
