- "Slow Cooking"
- Turn fermentation mode 70c for 12 hours
- Go back before the twelve hours is up at any point to add an additional 6 hours I like to do this after first six hours and set for the twelve hours to time to be over night I start mine at mid day for my schedule.
- After 18 hours put straight in fridge for and additional 12 hours or untill fully cold and set.
- Scrap around sides and lift out the clotted cream on top
- Save the butter cream / milk for using with your scones recipe lasts 5 days in fridge.
Add 500ml of heavey cream to mixing bowl
Tip
Purchase the best quality cream you can get your hands on the highest fat content the better. Raw is preference this is the best quality clotted cream you will get and half the price for double the amount so a quarter of the price you can buy for here in New Zealand. Video 👇🏿
