I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Line and set aside a slice tray. I use a Tupperware slice form but a metal tray lined with baking paper would work just as well.
- Add digestives to mixing bowl and crush 2s / sp6 until broken into small pieces, but not completely crushed. Set aside in a large mixing bowl.
- Add chocolate to mixing bowl and grate 3s / Sp8
- Add butter. Melt for 3 min / 50c / sp2 or until melted.
- Add condensed milk and mix for 10s / sp3.
- Pour chocolate mixture into mixing bowl with reserved biscuits and fold to combine.
- Add sultanas to taste and mix in with spatula.
- Transfer into slice tin and press down to corners and smooth the top. Place in fridge until set firmly. Slice into desired number of pieces. Keep in the fridge.
Tip
The mixture will be very thick and hard to mix - this is perfect, don't be tempted to add any more liquid to it or it won't set properly.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
