Great recipe, really easy & always a hit with the family
Delicious dessert. I didn't add sugar to the sponge and i don't feel it needed it. A fast, delicious dessert which i will make again (very soon)!
Oh my, what an amazing dessert! Thanks for a great recipe
Oh such a yummy quick dessert, will defiantly make these again
Thanks for making my recipe more 'healthy'. I actually use Rapadura sugar now and find it's so much nicer.

MMMMM.. Yummo.
So moist! I used muffin patty pans to cook in so no mess. This recipe was really easy. My caramel sauce ended up very runny, maybe I mucked something up, but it didn't matter because it was delicious. I didn't add any extra suger; there was plenty. Thanks
Tastes great!! Definately needed the 25 minutes in the oven (I did the larger cake) the caramel sauce was amazing. Didnt need the extra sugar as the caramel sauce was sweet enough!! Had it with ice cream.
The other recipe says 100g so perhaps about 50g-100g depending on taste.
how much sugar is in this recipe please?
I didn't add any sugar, it didn't need it! The dates are sweet enough for us. Instead of the sauce I made a cashew caramel sauce and the whole family loved it. This recipe is fantastic thanks so much!
