Ingredients
Vanilla icecream
- 2 eggs
- 150g sugar
- 530g cream
- 180g Milk
- 100g condensed milk
- 2tsp vanilla essence
Rum and raisin
- 20ml treacle
- 60ml golden syrup
- 100g raisins
- 50g Rum
Peppermint chocolate chip
- 200g choc chips
- 20 drops Green Food Colouring
- 10 drops doTERRA Peppermint Oil
Chocolate
- 200g Milk choc pieces
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder

- Add butterfly to bowl.
Place 2 eggs in bowl and mix 2min, sp4.
Add 150g sugar and mix 2.30min, sp4.
Add 530g cream, 180g milk, 100g condensed milk, 2 tsp vanilla essence and mix 3 min, sp4.
Add to icecream machine and follow instructions on the machine.
Rum and raisen version.
Add 20ml treacle, 60ml golden syrup, 50g rum to the 200g raisins and let sit while you prepare icecream base. Once prepared drain the liquid from the raisen to the vanilla icecream base. When your icecream is at the end of the freezing process in your icecream machine place the raisins into the mixture. I add mine 5 mins before it is finished.
Peppermint choc chip version
grate choc chips for 15 sec, sp5. Set aside.
Make vanilla ice cream mixture and when you add the cream, milk,condensed milk and vanilla, then Add 20 drops of green food colouring, 10 drops of peppermint oil and choc chips and mix for 3 min, sp 1.5
place mixture into ice cream machine and follow machines directions.
chocolate ice cream.
chop 200g choc pieces for 10sec, sp7.
add 1/3 cup cocoa powder and the 180g milk. Heat 3min, 100deg, sp1.5.
add butterfly, 530g cream, 100g condensed milk, 150g sugar, 2 eggs and 2 tsp vanilla essence and mix 3 min, sp4.
place in ice cream machine until done.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
