Recipe's preparation

    Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to bowl & heat 4 minutes, 70/75°, speed 3.
  2. Now froth your milk by blending 20 seconds, speed 8.

Tip

If you would like more than one serve simply add extra milk & extend your heating time so it hits the desired temperature.

Add 1 tbsp of drinking chocolate, or 1 tsp cacao/cocoa to the ingredients at the start to make a mocha.

If you don't like an especially milky coffee, you can replace some of the milk with water.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I'm going to try this using my instant coffee but for those use the ponds, do you just empty the pod into the thermi jug or do you brew your pod first?

    Really good!
This is so simple and works so well. Nice and frothy.
I also use the same method with milo for the kid.

Thank you for sharing. Its delish and the froth is so thick.
I used lactose free milk and nescafe coffee, heated at 75 and was perfect.

Really awesome! I like that I can adjust my sweetness and the amount of milk and coffee, unlike the Dalgona which is addictive but way too sweet. This is something I can drink every morning, guilt free! Thank you so much for this, I can now enjoy my favourite coffee without costing me a bomb at cafes!

I gave this a whirl using coconut milk and it didn't froth. I gave it an extra go, but no froth. I am still giving 5 stars though as I know that's a common thing with non-dairy milks. Still tastes yum tmrc_emoticons.-)

Being in lockdown, cant go to cafes.....yay i found a recipe i can make at home. Loved it. I would suggest adding another tsp of coffee if you want it stronger. I also made a hot chocolate version for the kids.
