Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Hubby loved this - I subbed the mustard for Honey Mustard but a delicious, tasty pie filling we will definitely make again.
I didn't add the milk at all after reading the reviews and using quite watery veges (zuccini, mushrooms, celery) but it is still really runny - like soup. Will it thicken up as it cools do you think?
Smells amazing btw!
Very tasty
This has become a favourite in our household. My only suggestion is to reduce the liquid a bit as the first time I made it we found it a bit too runny. It could be it depends which veg you use.
Luckily it was so yummy no one minded how soggy their pies were!
Hubby loved this pie filling. I used some cooked shredded chicken that I needed to use and turned out great. Used fresh carrot and frozen peas and made one big pie. Will be saving to make regularly.
sweetstuffmumma: hi, I was just wondering how you went about freezing this recipe? Do you make the pie and cook then freeze or just freeze the filling for later use? Thanks 😊
Yum yum yum
tasty recipe! easy to use up left over veg in the fridge and freeze for lazy nights
Loved this very tasteful
I've always loved to make pies, so when I recently became a TM "Closed lid" owner, I was eager to try out some pie recipes. I was a bit skeptical noting the short cooking time involved but thought I'd give it a try. I made individual pot pies with this filling and used the great Easy Puff Pastry recipe from the Recipe Community, for the tops of the pies.
I was pleasantly surprised when we sat down to eat this for dinner. Every member of the family made a positive comment...gotta be happy with that!
