  3. Salmon and Rice
  4. Weigh Rice into steamer basket then rinse rice

Place steamer basket with rice back in bowl and add water

Place salmon in Varoma 2 in bottom try and 2 in top tray and season to taste making sure you leave enough vents for steam to come through

Place Varoma on top and cook for 15min- Varoma - Speed 4

Check Salmon is done if it needs a little longer turn Salmon and cook for additional minute on Varoma Speed 4. You don't want to over cook the salmon. Make sure you remove the rice and place in a thermoserver until Salmon is cooked to your liking.

    Enjoy

Tip

If you would like to halve the recipe 65g ea per ingredients for the sauce and only 7min rather then 10min. Keep the rice and the Salmon the same.

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

    This was absolutely delicious.

Very easy to follow as my 12 year old made this for the family for dinner last night.

This will certainly be a favourite in this house.
