Ingredients for polenta
- 200 g polenta
- 1 litre water
- 1 tablespoon Stock Concentrate
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Ingredients for the beans
- 300 g tomatos
- 1/2 zucchini, roughly cut
- 1/2 carrot, roughly cut
- 10 g extra virgin olive oil
- 2 bunch basil
- 1 bunch parsley
- to taste pepper
- to taste salt
- 250 g Cannellini Beans

Put some parsley & basil into the "Closed lid" for 5 seconds, speed 5 and set it aside.
Put carrot and zucchini into the "Closed lid" for 5 seconds, speed 5.
Add extra virgin olive oil and saute for 5 minutes, 100° "Gentle stir setting" .
Add tomatos, season with salt and pepper and cook for 15 minutes, 100°, speed 1 "Gentle stir setting" .
Add the boiled beans, some more salt and pepper if needed and cook for 5 minutes, "Counter-clockwise operation" , "Gentle stir setting" .
pour into a baking dish, and keep it warm.
Put water, stock and oil inside the "Closed lid" for 12 minutes, 100°, speed 1.
Add the flour through the hole of the lid with blades moving speed 4.
Cook for 10 minutes, 100°, speed 4.
Prepare the beans
Prepare polenta
Tip
If you like a thicker polenta just use less water.

This is really good! I was surprised at how tasty it was. It's a keeper.
I loved this meal, real comfort food, easy to prepare with what I had in the fridge and healthy. I used semi-dried herbs. I nearly doubled the recipe to use a whole 400g tin of beans so increased the volume of everything. I didn't have quite enough tomatoes so used some passata to make up the total. I also added a dash of chilli to spice it up. Although it is easy, it does take a while if you make the polenta after the beans in the thermie. Worth the wait.
