Recipe's preparation

    Bread Crumbs
  1. If using fresh breadcrumbs throw the frozen bread (broken up into pieces) and Blitz 7seconds/sp8. Put aside
If using block Parmersan grate the cheese 10seconds/sp9. Put with bread crumbs.
Add Garlic & Herbs (if fresh) and Chop 5seconds/sp6.
Tip back in the breadcrumbs and Parmy along with Salt and mix together 10seconds/sp4.
Tip it into a shallow long dish.
  2. Egg Wash
  3. Prepare Egg Wash by beating Eggs and Milk together.
Dip Steak into Egg wash then crumbs and press hard.. If you would like to double coat go for it but if you are pressed for time one coat is fine tmrc_emoticons.-)
Once all crumbed set up frying pan with a decent amount of oil to fry up. Cook to your desired meat preference.

Tip

When frying your cumbed steak remember to heat your oil firstly and cook steak on a low heat to avoid burning the crumbs.
Resting the crumbed meat in the fridge for 15 minutes before frying ensures the crumb coating sticks to the meat.
You can do half packet breadcrumbs and half fresh breadcrumbs also.. I find this gives it a nice texture.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
