I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Preheat oven to 200 degrees
Put 1500g of salted water into the TM Bowl
Cut the Chicken Breasts in half and arrange in the Varoma on the tray
Place Varoma on TM Bowl/Lid and cook for 20 minutes Varoma Speed 3
Add Pasta to the bowl and replace Varoma. Cook for 5 minutes Varoma "Counter-clockwise operation" Speed 1
Cook until chicken and pasta are cooked through (increase time by additional 5 minutes if needed)
Drain Pasta and pour into a Casserole Dish or Lasagna Dish
Add cooked chicken to the TM bowl (no need to wash) and shred
Speed 4 "Counter-clockwise operation" up to 10 seconds. Until desired consistency is acheived
Add chicken to dish on top of Pasta
Rinse the TM bowl then add the Onion and Garlic and any other vegies. Chop 3 Seconds Speed 5
Add Oil and cook for 2-3 minutes 120 degrees "Counter-clockwise operation" Speed 1 MC Off
Add Passata and any desired spices (I like to use Chilli and Paprika). Mix "Counter-clockwise operation" Speed 3 for a couple of seconds to combine
Add vegie / sauce mixture to the dish with the pasta and chicken and mix to combine
Add Spinach and 1 Cup of cheese to the dish and gently mix into pasta mixture
Top with remaining cheese and bake in oven for 15 - 20 Minutes
Tip
This is a good recipe to hide vegies in. Add any vegies you want, and chop to desired consistency.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Brilliant recipe, very quick and easy, and great way to use up leftover roast chicken too and sneak in some veges
cooked this tonight. if i cooked it again i would use half the chicken and half the pasta. I found the sauce too thin and not enough depth of flavour so would probably add more fresh herbs and tomato paste and cook it for longer.
Very yummy and easy
Kids loved this. I used GF pasta and added extra veges. The chicken was moist and there was enough for leftovers the next day.
Reallyveasy and made a huge amount which is perfect for 5 hungry mouths! Leftovers are normally rare! I only added 320g of pasta and chucked a broken up pre-roasted chook over that then spinach leaves and then the veggie mix (pumpkin, carrot and celery). Thanks!
so easy to prepare! I make this on a Sunday afternoon for my partner to take to work for the week. Can be a bit bland so I add a heap of different herbs and spices
Great, easy to make and we all enjoyed it. Thank you
Easy to prepare. would definitely add some extra flavour. We added carrots and zucchini but it needed something else, perhaps some chilli And herbs. Will make again but with flavour modifications
Very nice although I am not sure I would add 500grams of pasta next time, maybe 350-400 grams.
Enjoyable and a good way to sneak in vegetables. I made mine GF with gluten free pasta and we enjoyed it. Great for freezing too
