Chicken/Prawn/fish

  • 5-600 gram chicken breast fillets, skinless, Cut to square/big cubes
  • 250 gram coconut cream
  • 50 gram Coconut cream Powder
  • 2.5 cm Fresh Turmeric, prefered
  • 1 tomatoes, ripe
  • 4 cm ginger fresh
  • 4-6 clove shallots
  • 20 gram tamarin Juice, soak tamarin pulp in hot water
  • 2 heaped tablespoons tm 31 vege stock
  • 40 gram vegetable oil
  • salt & peper, to taste

    Creamy Turmeric chicken paste
  1. No counter-clockwise operation"No counter-clockwise operation"

    paste Turmeric ginger, tomatoes, garlic on speed 7 for 5 second

  2. Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" Saute paste with oil for 5 minute

  3. Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"

    add chicken, coconut crem, tamarin juice cook for 15 minute

     

  4. Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"

    add coconut cream powder cook for further 5 minute

    Substitute equal parts lemon/lime juice & sugar instead of Tamarind juice.
    Substitute coconut flour for coconut powder

    Really yum - so great for kids with allergies!  Although the instructions need to be re-written to include all ingredients.

    Yum, that was lovely I used marinated capsicum as I didn't have a tomato and powder ginger and turmeric and was perfect and so easy.

    Yum, this was delicious! My 4yo asked me to make it again for dinner tomorrow night! I couldn't find fresh turmeric, so used 1.5 teaspoons instead.

    This was delicious! I made a couple of small changes because I didn't have all of the ingredients, and it had so much flavour!

    Could you post what temperature you cook it at? It's not in the recipe. I cooked it at 100 degrees, and it was great. Thanks for posting the recipe! tmrc_emoticons.)
