RECIPE PREPARATION
Tip
This recipe has been adapted from //www.browneyedbaker.com/homemade-salted-caramel-sauce-recipe/
This caramel is about the same consistancy as honey, and when refrigerated will go slightly thicker. Perfect for drizzling over icecream or desserts straight out of the fridge. If you want it to be runnier, you can leave it at room temp or heat it up.
For a thicker sauce, use 250ml cream or you can cook it for 4-5mins longer.
Store in the fridge in an airtight jar - will keep for about 2 weeks (if it lasts that long!!!)

Ohh yesssss
Delicious! It was a big hit with everyone. We had it on brownies and ice cream yum
Beautiful caramel sauce that makes a big bulk amount. Which is sitting happy at 14oC in my wine cabinet
I wouldn't call it 'salted' though. Next time will try doubling (maybe a tiny bit more) for an actual salty kick!
Totally amazing and very quick!
Oh my goodness! This is absolutley DEVINE!! And so so so easy! I love it!
Cheers
Punks!
Delicious. I served it drizzled over ice-cream on a chocolate chunk bownie. The jar didn't last long!
Such a delicious sauce, mum and I were feeling peckish and made a half serve to pour on ice cream. So good! thickened nicely when completely cooled
Delicious. Added 2tsp salt flakes and cooked extra 4 min for thicker sauce
Decadent but just delicious and so easy. Cooked it for 5 extra minutes (maybe because my cream and butter were just out of the fridge).
Yummo. I drizzled it over a caramel icecream cake covered in oreos.
