Ingredients

Hummus

  • 1 cans Canned Chickpeas
  • 30 g chickpea brine
  • 105 g natural yoghurt
  • 1 --- lemon
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons smoked paprika, or other herb/spice of choice

Recipe's preparation

    Hummus
  1. Place garlic cloves in Thermomix bowl and blend on Speed 7 for 3 seconds. Blend"Blend"
  2. Drain chickpeas and retain the brine from the can. Add chickpeas to Thermomix bowl.
  3. Squeeze lemon and add juice to Thermomix bowl.
  4. Add all other ingredients to Thermomix bowl.
  5. Blend for 15 seconds on Speed 7.Blend"Blend"
  6. Scrape down Thermomix bowl.
  7. Blend for 15 seconds on Speed 7.Blend"Blend"
  8. Scrape down Thermomix bowl.
  9. Repeat last step until you are happy with consistency. You can add then blend some of the retained chickpea brine if you want a thinner consistency.
  10. Serve and sprinkle some smoked paprika on top or chilli powder or fresh chives.

Tip

If you don't have any natural yogurt you can just use more chickpea brine.
