- 4 --- onion large, cut into qtrs
- 750 grams Saltanas
- 500 grams sugar raw
- 500 grams vinegar, white

"Closed lid" chop at speed 5 for 20 to 30 seconds depending on desired consistency
Add Vinegar and sugar and mix speed 2 "Counter-clockwise operation"
at 100 degrees, for 60 minutes with MC not in place, cook at speed 2 "Counter-clockwise operation"
When thickened to your liking, place into sterilised glass jars and let cool slightly for 10 minutes covered with a clean tea towel and then place lids on the jars and let cool

I have made this recipe twice now but have halved the sugar. We love it and enjoy it with cheese, cold meats and even by the spoonful! Yum!
