This may sound silly but is this 600g before the stone is removed or 600g of just plum flesh?
So good, so easy. I used recipe exactly & everyone is very impressed with the taste. Thank you for sharing
With 5 plum trees in the backyard, that go to waste most years - today I decided to make jam instead of watching the birds get drunk!
This recipe is fantastic - amazing taste, thickness etc.
No more wasted plums for us!
Nice enough, but not as sweet as with sugar.
Think I'll stick with more traditional plum jam recipes in future (pure maple syrup is also not budget friendly).
Yummy jam, easy to make and not too sweet.
This jam is amazing! Thankyou for this recipe
Such an easy way to make jam. No more standing over a pot stirring for ages for me! It's TMX jam every time. I used home grown plums and lemons and love the taste of maple syrup in this.
Nice and great it has no refined sugar!
Mine wasn't at all sweet... in fact it is quite tart so I would reduce the lemon next time perhaps, depending on my fruit (I used plumcots - a plum crossed with an apricot).
I did have to cook a bit longer but i do like a thicker jam.
Would this recipe work with honey in place of maple syrup?
This jam is perfect and I'm just making more now to give to my friends . Thank you
