Ingredients

Filling

  • 400 gram pork mince
  • 100 grams Prawns, raw peeled
  • 50 grams Water Chesnuts
  • 50 grams baby corn
  • 50 grams button mushrooms
  • 2 sprigs fresh coriander
  • 2cm cube fresh ginger
  • 4 --- eschallots
  • 2 --- garlic cloves
  • 1/2 --- Cup oyster sauce
  • 1/4 --- Cup soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon Mirrin
  • 1 tablespoon Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 teaspoon rice wine
  • 1 litre water

Dipping sauce

  • 1/3 Cup ketchup manis (sweet thick soy)
  • 1/3 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 Small bunch chopped coriander leaves

Recipe's preparation

    Making the filling
  1. Place garlic, eschallots and ginger into tm bowl and chop speed 5 10 seconds. 

    Add oil sauté 100 degrees 2 mins speed 2 then Set aside to cool

    Add prawns, water chesnuts, corn, mushrooms and coriander into tm bowl and chop 8 seconds speed 5 

    Add pork mince and garlic mixture and mix for 20 seconds speed 4 then 5 secs on reverse speed 4

    Fill wonton wrappers with a small teaspoon of mixture and wet tips of fingers before folding in half and pressing sides folding from one corner to the top to make a gyoza shape.

    Clean out tm bowl and fill with water. Place dumplings into varoma on both trays making sure there is space between each so they don't stick together and steam on varoma temperature for 20 mins serve immediately with sauce

    I was following your recipe to the letter - getting ready to put varoma in place.....then noticed I never used... 

    • 1/2 --- Cup oyster sauce
    • 1/4 --- Cup soy sauce
    • 4 teaspoons cornflour
    • 1 tablespoon Mirrin
    • 1 tablespoon Teriyaki Sauce
    • 2 teaspoon rice wine
