I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Parsley - This will be the green part of the christmas tree. If your not making the tree today save this step till you are. Add leaves only and cut 4 sec/speed 7, scrape down side of bowl and repeat if necessary then put in a bowl.

  2. Don't worry about washing the bowl. Add roughly chopped 1 Spring Onion or onion of choice 4 sec/speed 7, you can chop longer if you prefer after scraping down sides of bowl then put this aside

  3. Cut the 250gm Tasty Cheese into 2 cm cubes then grate 7 sec/speed 7, set aside

  4. Drain the brine from the Petite Cherry Peppers and add to the bowl to cut 2 sec/speed 6 then put this aside

  5. Add to the bowl, 1 tsp Onion Powder, 1 tsp Garlic Powder, 1 Tbsp Worchester Sauce, 1/2 tsp Paprika, 500gm Philadelphia Traditional Cream Cheese, and the prepped 1 Spring Onion and grated cheese and mix7 sec/speed 5, scrape down sides of bowl with spatular then repeat if needed

  6. Portion this as you like, but I use 2 bowls that will fit 1/2 of the mixture in each. You can use either baking paper or glad-wrap on the bowl first then 1/2 of the the mixture each bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour. This mixture can be made in advance of needing it and would last a good week

  7. Cut stars and decorations from your Red Capsicum (fresh).

  8. Once your cheese mix has firmed up you can shape it into a Christmas tree, or any shape you like. Use the chopped parsley as its outside leaves and decorate with the capsicum stars. You could add chopped nuts or dried fruit, whatever is to your liking.

    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
