Preheat oven to 180C and line a baking tray with baking paper
Place butter and sugar into bowl and mix speed 5 for 1 minute (or until creamy).
Add in condensed milk and Self Raising flour for 1 minute speed 5.
Scrape mixture down using spatula
Mix again 1 minute speed 5 (you will find a smooth dough will start to form)
Roll mixture into teaspoon size balls and bake 8-10minutes or until golden brown.
Tip
Variations: Slightly press the middle of the cookie dough with your thumb and add a teaspoon of jam to make Jam Drops
Macadamias and white chocolate, 100 and thousands or chocolate chips can be added as a different alternative.
Mixture freezes well. Roll dough into a log shape and wrap in glad bake. Defrost slightly before baking

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Comments
TM5 user: if your butter is softened as per the ingredients list it works well.
Chanowan:
I wished I read comments first too!
but I'm an amateur TM'er so learn from bad lessons I guess 😢
Campcorkett: my TM5 certainly struggled... wish i had read the comments first.
This recipe should be taken down sorry to say!!!
my machine went hot then bam it's completely stopped working 😢
reasonably new machine that's hardly been used and now it's stopped working!
very very disappointed!!!
I made this in my TM35 and found the volume just too much.
Next time I would do it in 2 batches.
The recipe itself is yum, easy and easy.
Will definitely make again.
So easy to make
I made this in a tm31 and the final mix with all the flour just didn't work. I poured it all into a bowl and mixed by hand. Turned out perfect. Made 2 trays of cookies and froze the rest for when needed next!
Made these this morning! WOW! This will be my go-to recipe for stocking the freezer from now on. Thanks for sharing
hubby made this recipe today, as it was a wet and horrible day. Wow... These were amazing and so easy for him. Now I'm going to make some Churros from Tracey's newsletter.
These were very nice! Easy recipe and i had all the ingredients already. I halved the recipe and it made about 40 biscuits
