I've made these a few times now and they are always a hit.  I also make them gluten free and have made them with a TBL cacao instead of choc chips before as well and they were just as popular.

Very happy with this! I made them gluten free as well - 1/3 potato starch 1/3 tapioca starch 1/3 rice flour, a bit of baking powder with a bit of xanthum to keep it together. I don't eat margarine so I used butter (130 grams) and added extra choc bits. Yummy! The choc bits broke up into smaller pieces very easily (maybe because I'm in a hot climate), so next time I'll probably reduce the speed at step 3. Thanks for sharing! tmrc_emoticons.-)

Made these today and they were delicious! I used gluten free flour though and added a few more choc chips (and also a handful of chia seeds). Yum! Thanks for the recipe. tmrc_emoticons.)
