Delicious!
Added walnuts and oats. Used 70g sugar. Also added frozen raspberries when apple was cooked. Cooked apple on stovetop with a bit of sugar and a squeeze of orange and lime juice till only just soft. Very easy crumble.
Yummy!! I added oats and coconut to the crumble mixture, and used apples, pears and strawberries. Cooked the apples for the 17 minutes and just added the pears and strawberries half way through the cooking time. delicious and so easy!!
My 5yo asks for this regularyl!
Took this to a dinner party & guests were amazed by how fantastic it was! definitely will make again & again.
Delicious! I actually did the apples on the stove as it was quicker, but will try varoma next time. Topping was awesome...amd only took a few seconds. Not ages rubbing flour into butter like I did pre thermie. new family favourite dessert.
Can l make this a day ahead?
Have made this a couple of times and it's perfection! Was one of the first things I made in my thermie, super easy. Whole family loves it with the thermie custard. Thanks!
This is the best Apple Crumble I've ever made. The almonds added the wow factor in this recipe. One of my favourites now. Thanks for great recipe.
5 * from the husband. I made it without almonds or cinammon for him and he loved it.
