I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 170*c and line a 25x25cm square baking tin with baking paper.
- Add butter to mixing bowl and heat for 3min/60*c/spd 1. Prolong if needed until butter is melted.
- Insert butterfly whisk and add brown sugar and white sugar to bowl. Whisk 30sec/ spd 4. Scrape down sides of bowl and whisk 1min/spd 4.
- Add eggs and vanilla and whisk 1min/spd 4.
- Remove butterfly whisk and add flour, baking powder and salt to the bowl and mix 20sec/spd 3. Scrape down sides of bowl and mix 10sec/spd 3.
- Add white chocolate chips to bowl and mix 10 sec/spd 3.
- Pour into prepared baking tin. Batter will be thick so try and pour batter in each area of the tin to minimise the need for spreading with spatula (The tmx spatula is perfect for this thick batter). Place bowl back onto thermomix and mix 1 sec/spd 10 to remove remaining batter from around blades. Pour into tin.
- Bake at 170*c for 30-35min or until lightly brownwed on top and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Cool in pan before slicing into bars or squares depending on your preference.
Tip
-Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
-Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before bringing them to room temperature to serve.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I made these last Christmas and my teenage grandson devoured them! So made them again today as he will be visiting us at Easter. Great recipe but not easy to get out of the bowl so glad to use the pre-clean setting!
