- 1/3 cup almonds
- 120g Butter
- 3 tbsp Golden syrup or Maple Syrup
- 100g rolled oats
- 60g Pitted medjool dates
- 100g plain flour
- 1 tsp bicarb soda

Pre heat oven 180
Line baking tray with baking paper (27cmx17cm)
Add alonds to TM bowl, chop 3 sec, sp 7. Set aside in another bowl
Add butter and syrup to TM bowl, melt 2 mins, 100, sp 2
Add all other ingredients to TM bowl (don't forget reserved almonds). Combine 30 sec, sp 5 - aid stirring with spatular.
Pour mixture into lined baking tray. Press down.
Cook for 15 mins on bottom rack
Let slice stand on bench for 10 mins before placing in the fridge to cool 30 mins.
Tip
You can add choc chips or any dessired dired fruit.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
