Great recipe. I increased the softened butter by about 1/2 again, and swapped milk for thick coconut milk and doubled the quantity. Hardened well. Pic includes store bought profiteroles and chocolates.
Thermomix struggled a bit with the density at the start, which worried me a little, but i think you jst have to make sure the butter is soft and you have enough liquid. Could always add more icing sugar if too runny.
Fantastic. I doubled for larger cake, which was way too much for my old Thelma, TM 31, Butterfly flew off blade, but, still turned out a fluffy, tasty and spreadable icing, after adding more milk. Thanks for recipe.
Quick and just rich enough. Yum.

Yum! My new go to quick and easy choccy icing. Thanks
Great recipe.
As others said, make sure butter is softened (or blend ingredients without butterfly, then use butterfly to whip).
I used milled raw sugar instead of icing sugar, worked well.
Make sure butter is softened, I broke my butterfly following the recipe
This icing is amazing!! Although it was extemely thick so i blitzed all the ingredients without the butterfly first, then added a dash of milk and then put the butterfly on and whipped for longer than stated.
Made this, not sure what i did wrong? was a bit thick for my liking. Took it out and put in bowl with a bit more milk and mixed with a spoon till it was a little smoother and to my liking. Pretty good recipe and made this with your cake which went down a treat with everyone.
Very easy, tasted great! Thanks🙂
Very good!
