Recipe's preparation

Preheat oven to 180 degrees
set aside an oven dish approximately 20cm x 30cm
add butter which has been cut into 2cm blocks and heat for 4 minutes speed 2 at 80°C prolong process if butter is not melted
add raw sugar, golden syrup and bicarbonate of soda and mix for 15 seconds speed 2
add rolled oats, flour and the coconut 15 seconds "Counter-clockwise operation" 4
scrape down sides of bowl
do another 15 seconds "Counter-clockwise operation" 4 and assist the mixutre with the spatular through the mixing bowl lid
transfer into your baking tray and press until compact and mixture is approximately 1.5cm thick.
bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.
Remove from oven and let cool slighlty, using a knife or dough cutter, cut into the desired pieces. leave to cool completely before removing from tray and break apart the pre cut pieces. Place into airtight container lined with a kitchen paper towel.
