- 360 grams Self Raising Flour
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- pinch salt
- 250 grams Milk (cold), (1cup)
- 20 grams butter (cold)

1. Preheat oven to 200 c and line a small tray with baking paper.
2. In the "Closed lid" add the flour, salt, sugar and butter and mix on speed 8 for 10 sec or until butter is well combined and flour resembles breadcrumbs.
3. Start mixing on "Dough mode" setting and with MC out, start adding the milk gradually until the dough just comes together, you may not need all the milk. Try not to over mix.
4. On a floured board or bench, tip the dough out and gently press together to form a disk about 5cm thick. With a scone cutter or small glass cut your scones and place them on a lined tray. Making sure you place them close together.
5. Brush scones with a little milk. Place in hot oven for 12-15mins or until golden brown.
