I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Malteser Fudge
  1. Grate White chocolate 5 sec / speed 9. Set aside into bowl.

    (No need to wash bowl)

Add condensed milk, sugar and butter

    Cook / 8mins 100 C / Speed 3

    Scrape down sides of bowl

    Cook a further 22 minutes / Varoma / Speed 3

    Add White Chocolate prepared earlier.

Add Maltesers - I keep mine whole as i like them chunky.

Stir through 10 sec / Speed 4 REVERSE

    Place in fridge until set.

    Cut in small pieces

Tip

I also make my own condensed milk now and do this after the white chocolate stage. I use recipe on here Easiest Sweetened Condensed Milk.

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Oh. Em. Geeeee! I've never made fudge in my life as it always seemed too hard. I think this recipe is going to be the reason I gain 5 kilos over Christmas. Absolutely amazing taste and texture and so easy to make. It's a great base mix that I'm sure you could change up with different add ins... tim tams, mint slice, jaffas maybe? Thank you for sharing!!

Absolutely fantastic. Really easy (although mine didn't look like your picture) tastes fabulous and I have friends already asking when I'm making the next batch. Yes I also added maltesers on the top but next time I'll do it in rows rather than randomly.

    Devine  Love

    This was A-MA-ZING!

Pushed a few extra Maltesers in along the top layer once I had put it in the tin so they could tell what it was at the kids 'School Bake Sale'.
