Ingredients

Marbled banana bread

  • 2 bananas, (Over ripe ones are best)
  • 2 eggs
  • 75 g Maple syrup, (or rice malt syrup)
  • 55 g Milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 180 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • 170 g chocolate chips

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180degC. Line a loaf tin with baking paper.
    2. Add 2 over ripe bananas to the mixing bowl
    3. Mix for 5 seconds, speed 5
    4. To the mixing bowl add eggs, syrup, milk, coconut oil.
    5. Mix for 10 seconds, speed 4
    6. To the mixing bowl add flour, baking powder, bicarb, cinnamon and salt.
    7. Mix for 10 seconds, speed 4
    8. Pour out half the mixture into a bowl and set aside.
    9. Add cocoa to the mixing bowl, then mix for 5 seconds, speed 4.
    10. Stir in half of the chocolate chips to the mixing bowl using a spatula.
    11. Transfer mixture into a loaf tin by layering the chocolate mixture and plain mixture on top of one another until all of the mixture is in the tin. Then swirl with a knife to marble.
    top with remaining choc chips.
    12. Bake for 50 mins, or until cooked through and enjoy tmrc_emoticons.)
