Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 1/4 Cup Cacao Powder
  • 1 2/3rd cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/3 Cup gluten free flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 6 tablespoons coconut oil, Melted
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

Recipe's preparation

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees. Grease 20cm x 20cm slice tin.

    Place apricots, dates and almonds in bowl. Chop on speed 5 for 10 seconds or until well chopped in small pieces.

  2. Add all dry ingredients to bowl. Mix on reverse, speed 2, until well combined.

  3. Add all wet ingredients to bowl. Mix on reverse, speed 2, until all combined.

  4. Pour mixture into slice tin and press down firmly.

  5. Bake for 35 minutes, until browning on edges.

    After removing from the oven, allow to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes, cut into pieces and then finish cooling in the refrigerator until chilled.

    Store in fridge.
