Ingredients

2 cups raw almonds 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 150 grams good quality chocolate - either 80-100% cocoa 10 dates - medjool preferred 3 eggs 1/2 cup coconut oil 2 tablespoon brown rice syrup

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 150 gr Good quality dark choc 80%
  • 10 Dates ( Medjool preferred )
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 coconut oil
  • 2Tlb Brown Rice Syrup

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1.  In thermomix bowl combine almonds, salt,  baking soda and chocolate on turbo setting 3-5 times or speed 9, 5-10 sec until mixture is like sand . 

     

    Add dates and mix on speed 8 , 5 sec.

     

    Add eggs , speed 6, 3 sec. 

     

    Add coconut oil and rice syrup and blend for a further 10 -15 sec speed 4. 

     

    Transfer mixture to a baking dish lined with baking paper, the mixture will be very thick so smooth out with a spatula

     

    Bake around 22-25 min until cooked at 170•

Tip

Brown rice syrup can be substituted for golden syrup or honey
