Recipe's preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients.

I only ever use French onion soup mix when combining it with cream and pouring it over sliced veges and baking it. This combination works for me, just as good as the real thing!

Umami paste can be made using this recipe

Any sort of seaweed...so maybe nori sheets? The recipe forum has quite a few comments on the making of the paste...

Hello, just wondering if you have a substitue for the Dulse sea vegetable flakes in the Umami paste recipe. tmrc_emoticons.)

Thanks for sharing this. i have been going to have a go at a substitue for the packet stuff for ages. it is the only packet mix i still buy as i couldnt find a substitute. my families favourite dinner is forequarter chops sprinkled with french onion soup and baked in the oven for half an hour. the soup goes ll crunchy on the top and they are delicious. Cant wait to try this healthy alternative. tmrc_emoticons.)
