Ingredients
Bread Dough
- 370 g lukewarm water
- 1.5 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp Dry instant yeast
- 620 g bakers flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp bread improver
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Garlic Butter
- 4 tbsp butter of choice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp herbs of choice

Combine all ingredients in bowl.
-Mix for 7 seconds on speed 7
-Knead for 6 minutes (dough function)
Leave in Thermo bowl for 15 minutes with the lid on.
Place in an oiled bowl and leave to prove in a warm place until doubled in size.
Prepare Garlic Butter spread
OPTIONAL: Place cheese of choice over the top before placing in oven.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl for 2 minutes sp 6.

This recipe can be used with a number of variants in the filling such as spinach & fetta, sundried tomato & olive, bacon & cheese..the world is your oyster!
You can substitute garlic cloves for 2tsp of minced garlic if you don't feel like peeling cloves. This can also be hand mixed in a bowl.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. Delicious! I prefer to halve the dough and cook the same amount of time really wonderful bread recipe. Will save this one for regular use!
I halved recipe and this still made one nice sized twist.
This is just divine. My family like it simple, some butter, garlic and parsely. It makes a massive twist but we always seem to manage to eat it all!

Sorry, silly question but do I put the olives etc in with the butter?
Just made this delicious pull apart with chilli, herbs and some mozzarella cheese. We enjoyed it with some antipasto things for lunch. Soo good. Thanks for sharing.
