Ingredients

  • 15 g rolled oats
  • 10 g chia seeds, (white or black)
  • 10 g dessicated coconut
  • 5 g cacao powder
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder, (I like Maxine's Burn)
  • 1 --- banana, frozen if possible
  • 1 dash honey, I like the original Byron Bay honey
  • 1 portion blueberries, use other fruit if you wish
  • 1 portion Pineapple, use other fruit if you wish
  • 130 g Almond milk, bought or hand-made
  • 1 heaped teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Put the rolled oats, chia seeds, dessicated coconut, cacao poder and vanilla protein powder in the mixing bowl 10 sec/speed 7.

     

    2. Add the banana, add ice if the banana was not frozen, pineapple, blueberries and honey. Blend for 30 sec/speed 7.  Scrape down the sides of the bowl with your spatula.

    3. Add the almond milk and cinnamon and blend for 15 sec/speed 5 until smooth.

    Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.  Delicious

Tip

Lower the time or speed if it is blending easily.

Double the recipe for more smoothie.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
