Ingredients

Sauce/soup base

  • 1 medium brown onion, Peeled cut in quarters
  • 30 grams Butter
  • 500 grams Milk of choice
  • 1/2 level teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 40 grams Fish sauce or (to taste)
  • 2-3 sprigs parsley, Note add this if none is mixed through your seafood mix
  • 60 gram plain flour

Seafood Marinara mix (fresh or frozen

  • 1 kg Seafood mix, prawns, fish , mussels and anything else you like

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. If there is no parsley pre mixed into your seafood mix add your sprigs to TM speed 9, Time- 5 seconds. Remove from TM set aside 


    2. Peel onion cut in quarters pace in TM Time -30 seconds, speed 9  scrape down Closed lid.


    3. Add butter  Time -30 seconds, speed -1 counter-clockwise operation,  temp -100 to cook off onion.


    4. Sauce base : Add flour,cayenne pepper,fish sauce,milk,counter-clockwise operation speed - 4, temp -100,  time - 8 mins. 


    5. Finally  Add parsley &  seafood counter-clockwise operation Gentle stir setting ,Time 10 mins , temp -100

Tip

Thia is a favorite in my family. We like it as a soupy serving, but we also like this with a thicker sauce and put into Volavonts topped with cheese and grilled. Or served in crapes

    Easy & delicious! Halved the fish sauce & cayenne & add 2 teaspoons vege stock & some black pepper. Will definitely make again!

    This was easy & delicious 😋 I realised when I'd started making it, that I didn't have any cayenne pepper, so I just added cracked black pepper instead. I did Step 3 twice because my butter hadn't melted properly. Overall, it was really enjoyable ❤️👍🙂

    Oh my gosh this is soooo yummy, that I have done this several times now. Not parsley season here at the mo so used Italian herbs and always make enough for another meal. Thank you so much. This is our treat ourselves to something really special meal.

    Hubby loved it! Kids didn't so will halve cayenne next time. Added more milk as it's very thick and would add less fish sauce

    I made this and added sweet potato,  carrot and celery that i steamed first.  Also added chives,  2tsp veg stock another 500ml water, hoiken noodles and only 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Super yummy

    Yum just made this for dinner wonderfull, added sweet potatoes , carrot and had some seafood stock that I had also made. Cooked the veggies on reverse slow with tablespoon stock and 100mls water 6 minutes added 150 to 200mls cream. Then followed recipe added seafood fish sauce plus paprika. Will add gnochi next time I make

    My husband loves this and requests it often.  It is so easy to make. I only use a sprinkle of ceyenne pepper as we don't like things too spicy.  Thanks for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)

    Thanks for an awesome recipe, this is my hubby's favourite meal out of the thermo, i do only use 1/4 tsp cayenne though & 20g fish sauce, yum
