Ingredients
Sauce
- 2 clove garlic
- 800g chopped tomato, canned
- 1/4 cup basil leaves chopped
Meatballs
- 30 g breadcrumbs
- 500 g lean lamb mince
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, peeled and quartered
- 1 handful of mint leaves
- 1/4 cup feta

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Place garlic and basil in TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds on speed 7.
2. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 7-10 minutes at 100C on reverse "Counter-clockwise operation" speed soft "Gentle stir setting" . Keep warm in thermoserver.
1. Crumb bread by pulsing the Turbo button until crumbs produced. Set aside.
2. Place onion, mint and feta in TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds on speed 5.
3. Add breadcrumbs, mince, and egg and mix 15 seconds on speed 5. Use the spatula to help mix if necessary.
4. With wet hands shape tablespoons of mixture into balls and place them in oiled Varoma.
5. Pour 1 litre of water into TM bowl. Set Varoma on TM lid and cook for 30 minutes at varoma on speed 3.
6. Serve with sauce and steamed vegies.

Tip
If you are mincing the meat in the TM do this prior to crumbing the bread and set aside.

Delicious recipe. I added a bit of white wine to the sauce and lemon zest to the meatballs. The whole family loved them. Will be adding this to my regular recipes.
