- 500 gram Kraft cheddar cheese, (cheese is in a blue box and wrapped in foil
- 1 brown onion
- 1 Red capsicum, roughly cut
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 can Carnation Evaporated Milk

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Roughly break cheese into thermomix and grrate 8 secs, Speed 8, set aside
Place onion, capsicum and garlic in jug and chop 3 secs, speed 4.
Then cook 60c, 5 mins, speed 1 (or until mixture is 'drying up'
Set temp 100c, time 3 mins speed 1 and pour evaporated milk through lid while its stirring.
Add grated cheese cook 80c, 8 mins, speed 1 or until mixture is all melted.
Let slightly cool then puree 4 secs, speed 7 (until mixture is smooth)
Pour in bowl and Serve (i put mine in the thermoserve to keep it warm)
Any leftover can be frozen

This is not my recipe it was posted by a lovely lady on the THERMOFUN facebook page, and i have tried to adapt it to be thermo friendly.
Please try and alter what you think as this is the first dish i have converted that isnt something i have cooked before, so there is probably ways to improve the proceess

Made this heaps before thermomix but this recipe is way too runny, the capsicum, onion mix was quite wet.
This recipe is too runny. Use a 185ml can of evaporated milk not a full sized can. Also cook on a higher speed to stop it from burning on the bottom of the jug.
I've tried a couple of different recipes for this and this one is the best I just added a sprinkle of Mexican chilli powder.
I have been making this for a while now (non Thermomix version) and it tastes great with a teaspoon of chilli flakes in it
