  • 10 g Himalayan salt
  • 10 g rapadura, coconut or raw sugar

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all ingredients into Closed lid"Closed lid" and process for 10 seconds on speed 8.

  2. Scrape down the sides and lid and blitz for 1 minute, speed 9.

  3. Scape down sides and cook for a further 15 minutes, Varoma temp, speed 1.

    Keep cooking until reaches desired consistency.

  4. Scoop tablespoonfuls into ice cube trays or zip lock bags then freeze and use as required.

Tip

Keep cooking until it reaches the desired consistency.

NOTE must use simmering basket!!! Do not leave unattended without it.

Will be trying it without the salt and sugar.

After 2hrs 1.6 kg became 1.25 cups.

    I made this and I was happy with the flavour and how it turned out.  My only recommendation would be to put in the recipe about using the simmering basket instead of the mc as while i was running around making dinner and trying to do this at the same time, i missed that bit and then remembered once it had overflowed all over the kitchen bench!
