  • 1000 g potatoes, washed or peeled and cut into 5 cm cubes
  • 110 g full cream milk
  • 360 g pouring (whipping) cream
  • 50 g mustard, wholegrain
  • 50 g cheese, Parmesan, cut into cubes

Recipe's preparation

    Mustard Potatoes
  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees C. Grease a large oven proof dish and place prepared potatoes into dish. Set aside.
  2. Place parmersan cheese into mixing bowl and
    grate 8 sec/speed 8. Remove to another bowl and set aside. Rinse mixing bowl.
  3. Place milk, cream and mustard into mixing bowl and
    heat 5 mins/90 degrees/speed 2. Ingredients should be close to boiling.
  4. Scrape down sides of bowl, add parmersan cheese and mix 10 sec/speed 2.
  5. Pour mustard sauce over prepared potatoes in baking dish, spread to a thin layer. Bake in oven for 1 hour, stir every 15 mins. Don't stir in the last 15 mins to allow crust to form.

Tip

Delicious served with your choice of meat and vegetables or salad.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
