Apricot Flapjacks

  • 100 grams Demerara sugar
  • 175 grams Butter
  • 275 gram rolled oats
  • 60 grams golden syrup
  • 50 grams dried apricots, Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
  • 50 grams hazelnuts

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line 20 cm baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Place butter, golden syrup, sugar into bowl then heat for 3min/90degrees/ speed2
  3. Add oats, hazelnuts,pumpkin seeds,sunflower seeds and apricots mix for 20 sec/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 3. Using spatula mix by hand for a few seconds to ensure all ingredients are mixed through
  4. Transfer to prepared baking tray and press down with back of spoon to form an even layer.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes on 180 degrees until golden brown
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Cut into 12 squares
