  • 3 eggs, free range, organic
  • 60 grams coconut oil
  • 2 bananas, medium
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 dates, Pitted
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 60 grams Coconut Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 40 grams walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Recipe's preparation

    COMMANDO STEVE'S BANANA DATE AND WALNUT MUFFINS
  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees

    Line the cup of an 8 cup muffin pan. 

    Place the eggs, oil, bananas, dates and honey into the bowl and blend speed 5/10 secs

    add the coconut flour, salt and baking soda to the banana mix. 

    Blend speed 5/10 secs

    Add the walnuts, reverse speed 5/5 secs

    Place in the pre heated oven and bake for 20-25 mins..

Tip

Thie recipe doubles easily and freezes well. 

 Fuel your body the right way with snacks that are a balance of quality protein, carbohydrates and fats!

They area  great protein snacks after a work out. Easy to grab out of the freezer before you leave the house each day. 

Leave the walnuts out to make them a nut free alternative for school lunch boxes.

    I added 50 grams of castor sugar. 1cup of self raising flour and 1/2 cup of milk to these. End result lovely. I also left out the walnuts
