Ingredients

Caramel slice (no bake filling from scratch in Thermomix)

Base

  • 125g Butter
  • 125g Self Raising Flour
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 90g Coconut

Caramel filling

  • 125g Butter
  • 125g brown sugar
  • 125g raw sugar
  • 125g milk powder
  • 40g water
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt

Chocolate top

  • 150g dark choc
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. preheat oven 180 degrees and line baking tray with non stick paper.
    melt butter 90 seconds 60 degrees speed 1. Add other ingredients and combine 30 seconds speed 3. Transfer mixture to lined slice tray and press with back of spoon firmly. You can smooth using back of MC. Bake for 10 mins. Allow to cool completely, do not remove from tray

  2. Caramel filling
  3. add all ingredients to mixing bowl and cook for 12 mins, 100 degrees speed 3 MC off and using simmering basket to avoid splatter
    scrape down bowl with spatula
    cook further 2 mins Varoma speed 3 MC off and again using simmering basket. Using spatula scrape mixture from Thermomix bowl and spread over slice base. Immediately rinse bowl, you can add some water and dishwashing liquid and turbo. Refrigerate caramel until set

  4. chocolate top
  5. melt for 4 mins 60 degrees speed 2.5 and pour over caramel. Refrigerate until set. Score chocolate then cut into even portions

Tip

Use milk chocolate if you don't like dark choc
